Alex’s story 2023 #helpforAlex part 9 a brownie sundae keeps the doctor away!

Today marks Alex’s 25th day of being clean. It also marked his transition from PHP to IOP which Alex is very happy and proud of because he is making good progress. So, We ended today’s therapy with another family session and then we celebrated with $1.50 Brownie sundaes from Sam’s club! 😂

25 days, 120 miles on average a day driving, and 2.5 hours a day in traffic has brought us to this moment. Just enjoying the small wins and sacrifices we’ve made to get us to this point. Alex is doing well and as we talk more and more we are growing closer and stronger together! We sat and talked over brownie sundaes about life and how we’ve both taken steps to become better people.
