In my boredom and search for the truth, I have decided to dig into my DVD collection. I have searched far and wide through all the streaming media I have found on ROKU, depleted my location family video to an extent, leaving me only one viable option.

Bust out the classics!

There was a point in my life that I told myself, why do I have these movies??? Heck I have even depleted my collection a few times. At one point in my life I think I had several hundred. When I was in Afghanistan they sold movies at the market... compilations, and rip offs. I still remember watching movies that were in the theatre on my little potable DVD player, people walking in front of the guys camera, talking, all the good stuff. Man I miss/don’t miss those days.

What’s weird is that I used to have a lot of those movies and I was saddened when I went digging and could not find them. Ugh!!!

I’m currently watching the Alien series on pure VCR quality. Which, I tend to enjoy those kinds of movies because it makes them more nostalgic. This brings me back to the days that my kids will never know.

All my kids ever tell me is that it’s old people stuff... they will never know the joy of crappy vcr technology! I still have VCR tapes by the way.

All my kids will ever know is YouTube, Netflix, and blu ray. It wonders me to know what their kids will enjoy as they get older.

By any means, leave it to a crisis to bring back the classics that made life go around before all this technology mumbo jumbo!
