Life in a box... fitness

I’m not a model, I don’t have a six pack, I don’t always eat the things I should eat, I like tacos, cheeseburgers, & ice cream. But, I still get up at 5am 5-6 days a week and workout. For 3 days I go to a bootcamp the other days I workout at home.
I don’t give a damn what anything thinks of my body anymore, although I wouldn’t mind getting a few random butt grabs every now and then! I get up and workout despite all my short comings because I do it for me.
Asthma, Enlarged heart valve, brain damage, hardly any sensation on the right side of my body, hardly any balance because of the brain damage, old man aches and pains, you name it I’ve got it!
None of it matters because I need to be healthy and better for myself. I’m 99% through my NASM personal training course and I hope to use that one day to help people like me to better themselves. I’m not a gym bro, I don’t have big ass biceps, I don’t look like the Rock but I don’t care. None of it matters if you’re not happy with yourself.
Nothing is worth doing in life unless you are doing it for the right reasons. If some lady doesn’t think I’m good enough because I have some fat around my muscles then she’ll never love me for what’s on the inside, she’ll never see me and my heart.
If someone thinks I’m weak because I’m not swole then it is what it is. They probably couldn’t walk hundred yards in my shoes, they couldn’t go through the things I’ve been through and still push on. Strength comes from the inside, not the outside. True strength comes from character and grit!
The will to get up everyday and face life head on even though it’s only ever given you lemons in the eye and a swift kick in the balls. True strength comes from heart! The will to live, to live well, to live for those around you, and not for yourself.
Stay strong and give the world hell because it’s only gonna give hell right back to you!
