1. Never take a bus... the bus is cheap! But, as you learn when you try to be cheap... nothing is more expensive than time and frustration. Just Uber it’s totally easier.

2. Don‘t buy an excursion before you come or on the first day in town... I went into town on day one and bought a boat tour and a party hopper(tonight). But I’m so tired and just want to chill that I regret the party hopper. Ugh... but the money is spent so, here we go. The boat tour was ok, but I wish I would have waited and bought the one from the hotel. The cheaper salesman kinda screwed me over.

3. Don’t go to Mexico if you don’t know a lick of Spanish.... not only is it hard to get around, it’s insulting to expect people to know English in their own country. I’ve already decided I’m learning some Spanish just because I don’t want to look like an idiot next time.

4. You can never, ever, ever, ever, use too much sunscreen... Nuff said.

5. Rest is important and sometimes overlooked while on Vacation. So find time to rest dammit.

6. Vacation is lonely when you travel alone, it’s nice to have some one to share the experience with.

7. Spend money on yourself. It’s important to be happy and free.

8. Spend time alone.... this contradicts #6 but alone time is just as important. You need to be yourself and enjoy it.

9. Enjoy nature and what God has created. It’s important to stop and say WOW this is some Kind of awesome.

10. You only truly live once... I almost died from stress and some dumb Sh?!.... so yeah I spend some money I didn’t really have. But, you only get to live life once so you should live it. Be safe, be smart, but live it! Because there is some amazing things out here. I love people and their stories. I love nature and it’s beauty. I love life.

Bonus... eat whatever the hell you want too!!!!
