Warning: material may gross you out!

So, last night when I got home from picking up my daughter from her friends house I opened up the garage door... right inside my garage was a rat, half dead, with a 7” tail, laying on the inside of my garage floor.

I don’t know how this rat got inside my garage or what was wrong with him but he was definitely dying. Which was a good thing! Except for the fact that all of my kids love animals. Even dirty rats... So, they proceeded to try and give him water with the cap from the a water bottle. Then they tried slipping him some cheese (how cliche) I guess they thought he was going to like just chill and hang out, drink some aqua, eat some cheese, maybe smoke a cigar.

To no avail, no matter how many times I told them to leave him alone and throw him out in the yard they kept trying to help him. Now my girls have huge hearts, especially Faith. I mean at one point I went to the garage and my 12-year-old was attempting CPR on the poor guy. No she did not perform mouth to mouth.

She was just trying to give him chest compressions to keep his heart beating which is both hilarious and disgusting at the same time.

Thankfully the poor little guy met his demise and ended up dying. Then I proceeded to roast him over a fire!

No, I’m joking, my daughter buried the rat in the yard. Things like this remind me of just how innocent and loving my children really are. I am also so very thankful that they are not completely scared to death of things like this and go running and screaming like little girls... and some ”men.”
